Event
The year 2014 brings for all fans, riders and potential buyers of the KTM X-BOW a huge, interesting innovation: For the first time we organize the “X-BOW DAYS” with a total of 12 days, divided into six different events. Six racetracks deliver the different venues for these exclusive and unique events that will bring the “X-BOW Community” together. The “DAYS” connect test rides or rental options of all current KTM X-BOW models for those who are interested in testing the car with track-day action for all KTM X-BOW owners (even for those whose X-BOW is equipped with street legal tires!), as well as license-free driving (including regularity tests) and the races of the ” BATTLE-SPRINT” and “BATTLE-ENDURANCE” racing series!

The heart of the event will be the “X-BOW Village”, where visitors are served throughout the day on the subject X-BOW. Whether stopping in the lounge for a quick coffee break, interesting car talks with the drivers of the “BATTLE”, informations about the PowerParts directly from the KTM staff or a large selection of the latest PowerWear – the “X-BOW DAYS” offer a varied program for the orange community. Admission is free, of course, also the grandstands are open all day long to cheer for relatives, friends or acquaintances with their fast laps in the X-BOW. For the right know-how, our professional instructors as Kris Rosenberger (former Austrian rally champion) or Reini Kofler (former Formula Renault European Champion) take care. The “X-BOW DAYS” offer pure motorsport atmosphere!

Races
Of course, the pilots of the “X-BOW BATTLE” will be in the spotlight for 2014: The “X-BOW-DAYS” provide a perfect setting for one of the largest and most popular one-make racing series of Europe that will impress also this season with consistently more than 30 starters on the grid. The rules remain – compared with the previous year – almost unchanged, and we may expect exciting fights for victory and points also in 2014. In addition, there is another race format available this year, the “BATTLE-ENDURANCE”, which is open to all participants of the “BATTLE”: A one-hour endurance race, that is contested as a “relay race” for two cars resp. drivers and that for sure will provide thrilling action and great races. For all visitors of the “X-BOW-DAYS” that have always been interested in participating in a club sport racing series as the “BATTLE”, there is the opportunity to taste racing atmosphere: With an exclusive tour through the paddock, participating in a drivers meeting with the stewards, an introduction into theory and with illustrative examples from practice, we bring you closer to the action during a race event. And if you are interested, you can get a test ride in a basic “BATTLE” race car, of course with guiding from our professional instructors.

The maximum driving time within the “X-BOW-DAYS” is both for street and slick tires five and a half hours, speaking of pure track time! Of course, KTM is on site and takes care not only about the supply of spare parts, but also has five actual X-BOW models that are available for rental. In addition, there’s support for first-time participants, both in organizational, as well as in technical matters. Current PowerParts and PowerWear desired? No problem, KTM has a large selection of both product lines ready on site.
