KTM is continually expanding its dealer network and in 2015 it has a new partner in the Flemish region of Belgium. Team DVB RACING from Willebroek, which in recent years has been extremely successful in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux, the BRCC and the Dutch “Supercar Challenge”, will start its 2015 season with two KTM X-BOW RR!

With this, DVB RACING becomes an official KTM partner, whereby the successful team will initially concentrate on race activities and track days. For this purpose they have acquired two brand-new KTM X-BOW RR of the very latest specifications, and effective immediately the team is on the lookout for drivers. They already have professional drivers who will mentor them, including the well-known Jeffrey Van Hooydonk or Koen Wauters. In addition, DVB RACING can, when needed, draw on the services of a KTM factory driver, who is available as either an instructor or a reference driver. When it comes to racing, the team is also already very familiar with the KTM X-BOW. Last season Belgian driver Xavier Mezquita, who is supervised by Team DVB RACING, picked up two class wins in the BRCC!

Frank Thuriaux, who is in charge of DVB RACING’s daily operations and its racing activity, is looking forward to the cooperation with KTM and the new cars: “Both KTM X-BOW RR are state-of-the-art and will certainly be very competitive. In addition, we can offer our customers and prospective customers an absolutely attractive, fast and, above all, a safe racing car for a really reasonable price because the running costs of a KTM X-BOW are significantly lower than in cars of a similar performance. With 360hp and only 810kg, it is possible to achieve lap times of 1:35 minutes in Zolder, which is remarkably close to that of the latest purebred GT3 cars.”

Above all, the focus for DVB RACING in 2015 is on the Dutch “Supercar Challenge”, more specifically the GTB class, in which one can realistically count on good results: “It should be possible to achieve at least a podium place in every race, if not a class win. Eight race events, each with two races, is the perfect format for the drivers to put in a lot of track time,” said Thuriaux, who also wants to use both KTM X-BOW RR in other areas. “I am thinking, for example about the “X-BOW BATTLE”, KTM’s own one-make racing series. When we get drivers for this we would certainly like to take part. In addition there are also two ‘Belcar’ events in Zolder that are very suitable for us to be involved in. And last but not least, the KTM X-BOW RR is perfect for track days and or race taxi activities and it is here that drivers can notch up track time at a very reasonable price!”
